Quick Review of  Was and Were

Hi, everyone! 
Yesterday in class we discussed was and were, remember? We said that was and were are the forms of verb be in the past. Let's see some examples, shall we?

My friends and I were at school yesterday but we weren't at school last Sunday. We were at the park.

My mum was at work yesterday afternoon. 

I wasn't at school last Saturday afternoon. I was at the cinema. 

When do we use WAS and when do we use WERE? 

I / She / He / It  -> WAS

You / We / They -> WERE
